The carbon dioxide (CO2) in the mixture improves the shape of the weld bead and the oxygen (O2) reduces the surface tension, allowing the weld bead to spread out. A wide bead reduces stress at the toe of the weld where cracks can occur. Now available in E and D size from instore.
