PFERD flap drums are made up of wider abrasive slats that are fan-shaped radially around the centre of the tool with a centre hole diameter of 19mm and 4 wedge keyways, which fits on an all conventional electric drum grinders. The flexibility of the tool makes them ideal for contour work on your work piece. As you use the tool over time wear will remove the backing of the flap to reveal more abrasive for constant and high stock removal. 

The flap drums can be used for universal work on medium sized and large metallic surfaces. Example-: fine grinding work on large radii in container, kitchen and apparatus construction or achieving homogeneous finishes (grinding patterns) on large surfaces and contours in manual applications.

Use with a recommended cutting speed of 15-30 m/s for best results.
